Academic Structure

The academic structure at UMP comprises Faculties and Schools. Each qualification is located in a single School, and Schools are grouped into Faculties. UMP currently has three formally constituted Faculties with 8 Schools:

Enter your personal details and click "Save" to proceed.

Step 3: Create 5-Digit PIN

Create your PIN (e.g., 24689), then click "Change Pin". Note your student number.

Step 4: Access Application Portal

You'll be automatically directed to the application portal page.

Step 5: Accept POPI Act

Click on "POPI Act", then click "Accept" to proceed with data protection terms.

Step 6: Accept Application Rules

Click "View Application rules", read them, then click "Accept".

Step 7: Student Application

Click on "student application" to begin the formal application.

Step 8: Update Biographical Information

Capture or update your biographical details as required.

Step 9: Address Information

Enter address details for Next of Kin, Account, Postal and Physical addresses.

Step 10: Contact Information

Update your cell number and email address for communications.

Step 11: Disabilities Information

Capture any disabilities. If none, select 'No Disability'.

Step 12: School Leaving Subjects

Enter your Matric subjects and results.

Step 13: Previous Studies

If you studied at another institution, provide those details.

Step 14: Upload Documents

Upload all required supporting documents electronically.

Step 15: Choose Programmes

Click "Add new academic applications" and choose up to two programmes.

Step 16: Residence Application

If needing accommodation, click "Add New Residence Application".

Step 17: Complete Application

Confirm progress shows 100% - your application is complete!
